African Sunday Djembe & Dunun Workshops

6 weeks of drumming workshops with Namory, Moussa and Issa!

Drum Teacher
Namory Keita, Instructor

African Rhythm Sundays at DrumConnection

experiences you will never forget!

Namory is a very tallented drummer from Sangbaralla, Guinea where he apprenticed with his uncle, the legendary Famoudou Konaté.  Namory is known for his love of his village, his respect for traditional music, and his infectious smile and joy of life. I know you will feel right at home with Namory.

I've known Namory since the old days in Guinea and we've spent many times together. As with all DrumConnection instructors, I am so pleased to have him join our staff. And to be able to present such a consistantly high level of instruction makes all the hard work pay off for you, the students of the drum.

If you will join us on this 6-week drumming adventure, you are sure to have the time of your life studdying the 'real deal' with the young master. You will be filled with not only rhythm and history, but a joy that you will carry with you throughout the week and maybe your life!
