8 Week Course

Course Book is $39.99 comes with audio CD of rhythms. Not required but you’ll want it.

New 8 week Sunday series of exciting and fun sessions learning and playing the rhythms that Mamady teaches in Guinea in his fantastic Pyramid workshops.

We will play the hand patterns, breaks, arrangements, solo phrases, and the three dunun drum melodies in the sangban, kenkeni and dununba. We will also spend time with hand and stick technique, body mechanics and fluid movement.

This class is open to all students who are interested in getting good! There will be a place for those new to drumming as well as advanced and professionals also. Preregistration is required.

We accept all major credit cards and other forms of payment. Bring a djembe and a dunun if you’d like. We can provide both at no cost to you if you’d like.

We will limit this course to 12 registrants! So, don’t wait too long to register.
