‘Just for Kids’ After-School African Drumming Program

Just for Kids African Style Drumming - ACA After-School!
with Stu Mendelson
begins to be scheduled.

Perfect activity for your child’s brain development and FUN!
8 Week Course

Drumming helps kids deal with challenges, develops cognitive reasoning, and is tons of fun! We’ll introduce you to the hand drumming of West Africa, Cuba and Brazil.

Starting with basic stick patterns, we’ll quickly move on to the djembe and conga drums. You’ll learn how to make all the sounds of hand percussion. In a short time, the class will sound like a real African village! Drums will be provided.

The DrumConnection DrumRoom
(where we hold most Arlington drumming classes, workshops, drum circles and large groups)
at the Gibbs School
50 Tufts Street
Arlington, MA

Directions: We are sorry that we are hard to find! Though there are many doors in which to enter the school, the ONLY one that will bring you to The DrumRoom (which is under the gym) is at the very end of the school. Here’s how to get there:

Use a GPS to find 50 Tufts Street. Or walk down Tufts Street till you see the house numbers 49 then 51 (on your right) and the school on your left will end! Take a Left and a Left into the school where it will say Drum Class. This is under the gym.

Take my number with you in case you get lost or stolen. 617-686-6080 (Alan’s cell)http://www.acarts.org/Afterschool.phphttp://www.acarts.org/Afterschool.phpDirections.htmlshapeimage_1_link_0shapeimage_1_link_1shapeimage_1_link_2
