Feedback from recent attendees...

"This is a perfect evening out. You meet the nicest people, do things you have NEVER done before and are able to really communicate musically with everyone. Nice munchies too. Just perfect! Video of Africa just taken!"
Alan on Jan 1, 2010.

“Because it's cool. It is, really!”
Kim on Feb 14, 2010.

“If you want to learn more drumming and drumming beats in a more structured environment than a typical Drumming Circle, then this is the place to be.”
Don Nolin on Dec 5, 2009.

March feedback --This was a great chance to meet other drummers and to share some very good drum spirit. I thought it was unique in the amount of time we were able to spend on a single jam - very rare to drum for 1/2 hr straight! I also thought beginner level drummers were included- everyone seemed to get a lot out of this evening. Update - November -- We'll never run out of rhythms to play with! This last class was great for all levels -- and we did a little singing too... We sang a song that children sing in Guinea -- and we felt a bit of the child spirit throughout.”
Joel on Nov 14, 2009.

” To enjoy playing out - learn traditional indigenous rhythms - meet new and old drumming friends - escape from the commonplace - generally lighten up!”
caroline lato on Nov 8, 2009.

“Drumming is fun and good for your soul.

Mike on Oct 23, 2009.

“If you are a beginning drummer you will be taught the basics and will learn in a very supportive community. Those with more experience can find many opportunities to jump in with more intricate rhythms.”
lkrodel on Aug 8, 2009.

“Mello, excellent group of people from beginners to advanced. Everyone feels comfortable there.”
Karen,Tom, and Matt Allen on Feb 13, 2009.

“It’s a great way to have an introduction to drumming without having to commit to a weekly class.
Nicole on Jan 27, 2009.

“Everyone is so welcoming and there is nothing but positive vibes from the instructor and the players. i recommend this class for any one and everyone.”
Sarah Sindoni on Nov 2, 2008.

“Because drumming is an excellent way to connect with Life's energy, to let go the mind and feel the rhythm and be part of it; it is also a great way to overcome "I cannot do this" kind of attitude and get away from your mind and more into your intuition; and because it is a hell lot of fun; it is like being a child again.” Cristina

“Good fun. Great music. Nice companions. Excellent instruction. Nice nibbles. Wonderful time!”
Roselyn (Rose) on Apr 19, 2008.

“It is the best drumming circle in the area! People really come together in a community, and with a community spirit. Instruments are provided if you don't have one. And there is always food and time to talk and meet people.”
stuart on Apr 18, 2008.

“I know of nowhere else where you find this kind of drumming in a circle. Fun AND musical. Great people.”
John Tracy on Apr 9, 2008.

“Quite a few members showed at this particular meeting. Which was nice...I would have liked a bit more instruction at the beginning as I spent most of the meeting banging on the drum improperly. All in all, however, I know this isn't meant to be the class...and is an effective demonstration on better determining if the class would be of interest. Thanks Alan!”
Jim Raff on Mar 20, 2008.

“This was my first Drum Circle and certainly won't be my last. Enjoyed it.”
